hATE IT WHEN Professionals DON’T CALL YOU BACK?

Yeah, me too.

Hey! I’m Lana,

your professional visual storyteller.

All this started because I was weaning my fourth — and last — baby. I wanted to celebrate a nursing journey that not only outlasted my other three, but was also the most difficult.
I wanted photos of us in a sentimental and artistic way so when the moment was gone, I could look back on the images as my own personal time machine.

Except, no photographer was answering their phone. I had a deadline, and here I was, not getting answers or calls back, even after a couple weeks.

I couldn’t get anyone to just take my money!

So I was left to do it myself.

Luckily, it turned out okay. Not what I wanted in quality, but the style and moment were just right.

I can still see the joy in my 18-month old daughter’s eyes in that moment.

I got my own time machine.

I want every client to experience this feeling of time travel and nostalgia.

When you look at your images, you’ll never have to be afraid of forgetting what’s most important to you, again.

This feeling is what I call the sparkle. You’re looking for someone who can see the sparkle behind your eyes and bring it out in your portraits.

Here’s to the pursuit of the sparkle.

why printed photography?

Because life should be celebrated and most importantly, remembered.

Everyone is susceptible to the effects of time making our memories very precious.

With images in your home you'll never worry again about losing these golden moments. Your home will be beautifully decorated with pieces that emanate love and connection.

And best of all, you'll have the peace of mind that all these memories will be backed by a lifetime guarantee in case a piece is damaged or lost.

Don't sweat, I've got you.

Here’s the Dirt on Lana Stewart…

Don’t be fooled by the fancy-shmancy website, I’m a total goofball who loves lounging in the sunshine with a good book and acv + lemon water.

I’m a cat person, who also absolutely loves other people’s dogs. I’ve lived like chocolate is a food group, and often fit Chinese dramas into my daydreams.

I am a sobbing mess in kids movies and love a good dose of cheesy “I did it!”, “we survived!” and happily ever after moments, which translates perfectly into my couples & wedding work.

I firmly believe that everything in our lives is worthy of being a piece of art.
